Do these books explain how to perform the acts?

No. They state what an act is worth, not how it is done: the reward attached to congregational prayer, discreet charity, fasting on a Monday. For the ruling itself, go to the Fiqh section.

Why is takhrij decisive here?

Because hadiths of merit circulated more widely than others, and part of what is passed on orally about the reward of a given act goes back to nothing solid. It is the criterion to put before price.

Which book before Ramadan?

Ibn Rajab's Lata'if al-ma'arif, which follows the months of the year and gathers what pertains to each season. It is read at the pace of the calendar, a few pages as each date approaches.

Should I order in advance?

Yes for this section: it is most in demand before Ramadan and before the ten days of Dhul-Hijja, and titles go quickly at those two moments. For a bulk order, write to us ahead and we reserve on confirmation.
