What do these books cover?

The definition of iman, its branches, its increase and decrease, the relation between speech, action and inner conviction, the distinction between iman, islam and ihsan, and the related questions of kufr, nifaq and major sins.

What level is needed?

A level already established. Ibn Taymiyya's Kitab al-iman is an advanced treatise discussing definitions and historical positions. We recommend first working through a general aqida treatise, which covers these questions in a chapter.

Why do several books share the same title?

Because Kitab al-iman is a classical title of the genre: there is one by Ibn Taymiyya, one by Abu Ubayd al-Qasim ibn Sallam and one by Ibn Abi Shayba, of quite different kinds. We always state the author on the listing.
