Several publishing houses in the Arab world bear a name built on the same word, and a buyer can easily take one for another when searching by title on a search engine.

On every listing on this page, the publisher is stated as it appears on the title page of the copy we ship, with no harmonising on our part. If a teacher recommended a particular edition, send us the full name of the house and, if you have it, the city of publication: we check the copy before shipping it.

Checking an edition before buying it

The number of volumes tells you the scale of the apparatus of notes. The presence of indexes and numbering decides its use in consultation. The paper and the binding decide the life of the book. And on texts meant for memorisation, vocalisation and the size of the characters come before all the rest.
